Our sunday adventure!

On Saturday we were shopping for our Sunday dinner and desert. We decided we hadn't had brownies and ice in such a long time and just thinking about them made my mouth water. We bought all the thing was needed so we would be okay for Sunday. after church on Sunday we can back from church and made dinner and tried to start dessert. But there was a big thing we found out we were missing. We didn't have a mixing bowl! And the pot we would have used was already full of stew for dinner! So we had to be creative and find the only other thing big enough to mix it in. Here are a few pictures. I thought it was pretty funny!






After dinner I was eating the left over brownie batter. And asked Chris said he wanted some but after I gave him the whisk things got a little out of hand ha ha!



Needless to say we're very unique in our cooking techniques!

I'm going to start blogging again!

I've been told by my mom i need to blog. So i'm going to do my best! As most of you know i'm ENGAGED!!! I'm getting married Febuary 27th to Chris Hoskings and i'm so excited! We just got all of our engagments done and they turned out awesome! Amber did such a good job. You cant tell it was FREEZING when we did the shoot. Here are a few pictures.







I also moved out of my apartment and into the apartment we'll be living in. Its 2 bedroom one bath. And i love it so far! The only down side is we have no internet or cable! We were able to save up enough money and get our couch which we brought home yesterday. Its so nice to have a little bit of furnature. But we still need all of our bedroom furnature and things to make it feel like home. I had no idea how many things to had to buy when you get married! Even little things like forks and spoons. Lucky for us theres a DI right down the street i could pick up a few things untill we save up enough money for everthing and in the mean time i was able to take one of the mattresses from the apartment complex i help manage.

Its really fun getting everthing going with the weddings and pretty much starting my new life. But then again i'm not really doing any of the hard stuff. I have to give that credit to my mom and everyone helping her! She's so great i've been so busy with work that with out her this weddings would never get planned! So thanks so much mom!

Thanks Tera!

So I thought I would thanks Tera because when I was living with her for a few months she taught me how to get free dinners from boys =) By saying so what are you doing tonight. You should make me dinner! Also we had the second counselor from out stake presidency come and give a talk. He counseled all the girls that we cant give boys free food any more. ha ha And as you could tell from my last blog its worked! I've gotten lots of free food. I only wrote about Sundays. So thanks to the stake presidency and Tera I'm not going to starve here.

You want to make me dinner?

At my house on Sundays we always have a nice dinner with a roast mashed potatoes and a vegetable. But sense I've moved to Orem all my meals consist of Top romen, Pancakes, sandwiches and cereal. So when sunday rolls around i always miss home. I miss the nice dinners and eating as a family. Also sundays are usually the day when all the kids get a little hyper and we have so much fun i also got to take to my family for a couple hours last sunday so that was really nice to hear how everyone was doing. Any way back to the story. So every sunday i dont want Top romen and lucky for me i've had someone invite me to dinner every week =) The first week i was here my room mates and i were invited to go to have dinner with the boys down stairs. and then last sunday Riker invited me to have dinner with him. So i've been taken care of each sunday Its been really nice because i've usually out of alot of food by sunday so i never know what to make. But lucky for me i've never had to worry about it so i'm hoping i'll get dinner each sunday ha ha! Also something thats been really nice is guys are pretty good cooks. My friend Riker wants to be a cook eventually so he's going to school for cooking so i had the best Spaghetti ever! Then we watched a movie (Best two years) and went to ward prayer. So my sundays have been really nice lately.

The Hot Springs!

Last Thursday I got invited by my friend Riker to go to some hot springs up in the mountains with him and some of his friends. I really wish i would have had a camera to take some pictures because it was SOO cool!! We didnt leave till it was dark out side (Apparently its cooler that way) The hot springs were about twenty minutes away from out apartment but because it was raining it was close to 40 ha ha. We got the the hot springs and it was so muddy! so i had to be carried to the spring i was so afraid riker was going to fall because he kept slipping. The hot spring was really fun because even though it was super cold outside it was really warm in the water! I was afraid my legs were going to burn. There was a tree growing in the middle of the water and fog. So it looked awesome... but kinda creepy. While we were swimming we saw a mouse run were our shoes were being kept so when we left about an hour later everyone was nervous that when they put on their shoes a mouse would be in there! I ended up falling asleep on the way home because the hot springs were so relaxing i crashed! But it was so much fun and we're going to go again eventually so when i do i'll take pictures so everyone can see!

Work....

As i said in my previous post i work in a bakery. So i thought it would be fun to show you my uniform. Even though we're not real bakers Target wants us to look that part ha ha! These pictures were taken with my phone so they arent very good quality. So far i'm liking my job but i had an interview with Nu Skin today and it went amazing! So keep your fingers crossed i'll find out by friday!

80's Dance!

A couple days ago UVU had a 80's theme dance! So me and two of my room mates Brittany and Lauren decided to dress up and party for the night! The dance was so much fun. There was 80's music and it was so funny when me and brittany tried doing a few dance moves we learned at girls camp (The running man and roger rabbit) needless to say we were born it the correct time period because we're horrible at 80's dancing but one things for sure its a work out! by the time the dance was over i was beat and ready for bed. But we had a blast and cant wait for the next dance =)
