As of lately

I've been slacking on blogging. I knew i would be busy having a newborn but i had no idea how busy i would be. Avery is such a doll and we love her so much. Lots has happened this last month and a half so I'll try and keep this short. My mom and Conner came down and stayed with us for a few days to help with Avery and help me recover from having her. It was so nice to have them here. My mom stayed in the room with Avery at night and would knock on my door when she was hungry so i got a lot of sleep. I have a hard time letting people do stuff for me so if she was cleaning i wanted to help her. One day she literally made me lay in the bed and wouldn't let me get up. Thank goodness she did because that day i started really feeling better.
During pregnancy my feet swelled a little bit but not nearly as much it did after i had her!
My feet were so swollen you could push your finger on my foot and i would leave an indent! There was one point that i was sitting on the couch with my feet crossed in front of my when i uncrossed them there was a huge indent where my heel was! So thank you mom for making me get off my huge elephant feet!

This is a picture of all the diapers Avery went through the first five days she was home! I knew we would go through a lot of diapers but i had absolutely no idea it would be this much! Thank goodness she's cute!
Once my family left we were really lucky and Chris' mom got to come stay with us. She was so sweet i got to sleep in when she was here because she watched Avery so i got some much needed sleep.

Avery has defiantly been keeping me on my toes. After everyone left she started getting really fussy and spitting up almost everything she ate. I went to the doctors and he told me she had reflux and maybe colic. He gave her pills that we have to put in water to dissolve and give to her each morning. It seemed to be helping but then the next week she got fussy again until one night she was so congested she couldn't stop choking on the mucus in the back of her throat. Poor Chris had to work early the next morning and didn't get much sleep because at about 2:00am we went to wal-mart to get a humidifier. But it didn't help her. I ended up staying up with her all night and took her to the doctor again that morning. We found out she had TWO ear infections! My poor little girl has been so sick and because she's so young they took a urine sample and blood sample to make sure she was okay. Luckily nothing else is wrong right now. We just have so much medicine she has to take it makes me feel so bad.  But she's doing much better now. Here are a few recent pictures of her.
