What is that smell!
As most of you know i work at Alpine Court apartments managing them and i LOVE it! Last week something a little strange was happening when i would come to work the front door of the clubhouse was locked and none of the girls could get in to do their laundry or hang out it the public areas we have for them. And there was this smell! It was not a normal persons B.O. it was BAD!! Well this had been happening for a couple days and the thought keep popping in my head. "There's a homeless person living down here." I pushed it aside for a few days until i really couldn't think of another reason for the smell and door being locked every day that week. I went home and told Chris what i thought was happening. He was so sweet and told me he would go over to Alpine at 2:00am and check up on it. That night he went to Alpine three different times to look around and make sure the girls were okay. Finally at 2:00am he left and didn't come back for a while! When he did get back he told me there was a man living down there! I cant believe i was right!! Chris went down there with a crow bar from his truck for protection and woke the guy up and told him he was going to call the cops! Well i guess this guy was really nice. First of all there's a lots of things down there he could have stolen and sold for money and he didn't. and he was looking my husband in the eye and saying I'm so sorry i just had no where to go. So he told him okay if you leave and don't come back we wont call the cops but we're going to be checking randomly and if you're down here you wont be so lucky. I wish there was more we could have done for this guy. Chris was bothered by it for a couple days after we kicked him out. He kept thinking did i do the right thing? But the bottom line is he was sleeping in a girls apartment complex and it wasn't safe for the girls that live there. All we can say is we're glad he was warm during the snow storm that came last week and hope he's okay.

That's kind of scary! Glad things went ok.
